Hubris is a wonderful thing when it comes with two documentaries.

It only occurred to me when I wrote about so-called “Heavy Duty” cars, well—is there an example of a truly “Light Duty” car? The Chevrolet Corvair.

You can read this in Unsafe at any Speed, or practically any of the car’s better-informed reviews, it is not new and I don’t even need to drive one to know it: the Corvair was terrible because it was built down to a price.
