
A few years ago, after my Grandfather died, I took his car out for a final drive.
I made sure to take it out during nice weather, late in the day, driving it on the straight country roads it’d been on its entire life. My grandpa began as a poor farmer, hustling and working hard his entire life. When he retired as a superintendent, a nearly new Lincoln Continental dealer demonstrator was a well-deserved gift to himself.
