When Charles Sykes, a skilled artist and sculptor, was commissioned to craft a mascot for the front of a Rolls-Royce—with a shape inspired by the owner’s mistress—you can’t help but wonder how it managed to thrive in the years since.
Morphing from that mascot, known as “the Whisper”, the Spirit of Ecstasy holds both arms behind, dress flowing in the wind—in the pursuit of whatever’s around the corner.
