Anyone can do an art car once: there are countless Facebook Groups full of people shaming the legions of home-brew examples. BMW, in comparison, is sitting on an entire back catalogue of priceless, capital-A capital-C Art Cars. As perfect as each are, they’re pretty much one-offs.

This gallery is to celebrate the workers who’ve enabled BMW and artist Jeff Koons to make another Art Car—99 of them, in fact. That’s more than four full (21-car) NASCAR grids, with a few to spare.
